Super Jeep Excursion to Private locations
Savanna and Kevin decided to step into another world in Iceland's rugged Highlands. Surrounded by dramatic mountains, moss-covered valleys, glacial rivers, and volcanic landscapes, this is an incredible choice for couples who want their elopement to feel like a true adventure. These secluded spots are only accessible by 4x4 or Super Jeeps which makes the journey just as memorable as the destinations!
First Look in Þórsmörk (Thórsmörk)
The first stop on the Super Jeep tour was at the base of Eyjafjallajökull (a stratovolcano) in Þórsmörk (Thórsmörk). This was where Savanna and Kevin had their first look with the mountains and a glacier within the mountain behind them. After their sweet first look, we explored the area and took some more portraits here!
Vows in Stakkholtsgjá canyon,
After a pit stop to use the restroom and east some snacks, the Super Jeep took us to Stakkholtsgjá canyon in Þórsmörk (Thórsmörk). We ventured through a river to a remote spot surrounded by moss covered canyon walls where Savanna and Kevin had a special moment sharing their vows. It was magical and felt other worldly! I half expected a dragon to fly through the canyon!
Ukulele Serenade and Icelandic Hot dog Lunch
As we made our way through the canyon and over the river back to the Super Jeep we stopped for a break. During this moment, Kevin serenaded Savanna with a song he wrote on his ukulele. It was such a special moment and incredibly cute to witness! After that, they enjoyed some yummy Icelandic hot dogs (it's a thing there!) grilled up by the Super Jeep company!
