Pacifica First look and vows
Liz and Ryan stated their morning meeting up at one of my personal favorite coastal spots in the Bay Area. This Pacifica hiking trail leads to gorgeous cliff views, a black sand beach, and was the perfect intimate spot to start their special day together.
Horseback riding in Half Moon Bay
After their vows, instead of heading straight to the next formal moment, they did something that felt completely them.
We drove south down Highway 1 to Half Moon Bay, where they traded wedding shoes for riding boots and spent part of their elopement day horseback riding along the coast.
This is the part of the day that perfectly captured the spirit of their elopement.
They laughed, leaned into the adventure, and let themselves fully enjoy the experience - no timeline pressure, no expectations, just the joy of doing something fun together on one of the most meaningful days of their lives.

ceremony on the cliffs in Montara
After our coastal adventure, we headed back north to Montara, where their families were waiting for them on the cliffs overlooking the ocean.
Their ceremony felt like the perfect balance—private and personal, yet shared with the people who matter most. Standing on the rugged cliffs with the Pacific as their backdrop, they officially said I do surrounded by love, wind-tousled hair, and wide open sky.
Reception in the East Bay
As the sun set, the day transitioned into celebration.
We ended the evening at their family member's home in the East Bay, where they hosted a reception that felt more like a joyful gathering than a traditional wedding event. There were heartfelt speeches, first dances, and a bounce house that brought out everyone’s inner kid. Add in a delicious dinner and plenty of laughter, and the night felt like the perfect way to end their special day.
